So.... Biden being polled?

Ben Smith today wrote:

With all the usual caveats -- this was a single polling call, reported by a single source -- a Democratic activist in eastern Iowa I know fairly well got an interesting call last night.

He e-mails:

I got polled today about my views as "An Iowa Democratic Activist." on Joe Biden ... They asked:

Did I have a positive or negative view of Biden?

Does he have the expereince to be VP?

Would he make you more or less likely to vote for the "Democratic Ticket"? weird word choice.

He didn't catch the name of the pollster. Anybody else getting calls like that?

I don't put too much stock in that, but I'd like to think it's true, because Obama could use Joe Biden. We all keep talking about Obama not attacking, well, Joe Biden could attack and get away with it. He's a senior senator to McCain, has far more reformer status under his belt, and the only reason he isn't the nominee is that he's got a bit of a big mouth. Perfect.

Edwards. Clinton. Biden. Those were my choices. SLIGHTLY warming to Sebelius, but only if (as seems likely) Clinton is totally out.

I'm totally in agreement with your... (2.00 / 1)

...3 picks and the order.

I also think Biden ahd Obama have a certain synergy.

It would be a good team to win....AND TO GOVERN!!!!

I DO like it when Biden tears peoples' heads off.

No way. No how. No McCain.

I couldn't imagine a better electable ticket than this.  Biden is not as liberal as some people think. He certainly has the most foreign policy and judicial experience than any other the other candidates for VEEP.  He would appeal to the working class in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and to the working class in general.  I also think is would take the edge off of two relatively inexperienced candidates on the ticket.  Plus, he has the abiity to skate between the isles, not just rech over.  Yes, I wish they would poll me!    Obama/Biden 08 - a winner!

And he has worked with John McCain enough to call him as the great big phony that he is being right now. Unlike Johnny-Come-Lately, Biden can run without disgracing his principles.

Obama/Biden: Truly Change you can Xerox! (none / 0)

Only joking. Seriously though I could live with this. I would pay to see Biden rip Romney to shreads in a debate.

I'm not so hot on Biden, he's too much of a 'maverick' and sticks his foot in his mouth too often.

However, I would be seriously much more happy with him than, Kaine or Sebilius (sp?).

Clark would be my #2, Clinton#3, ,Bayh#4, Biden#5.
